You bring out the worst in me.



Holy fuck. I submitted something. First time finishing a serious digital piece as well. Well this is the famous plague doctor. Got a sudden interest in them, no clue why just the interest got more and more intense to the point of doing some artwork. I credit the lovely for my main ref for the mask. Plague doctors were pretty much the public healthcare during the medieval times but only treated the plague victims. They were second-rate doctors who had difficulties running a successful business or were young doctors trying establish their business. Some areas they had zero medical training and even one case reported that one used to be a fruit seller before becoming a physician. Anyways, go to [link] to learn more if interested
